Qualifying in Travis County

After the Court signs the order, Kasey Jorgenson takes the receiver's oath and files it with the bond the Court set (Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code §§64.022–.023), then sends a notice of qualification to both counsel. In a pending divorce, we give the appointment notice to each lienholder within 30 days, as Tex. Fam. Code §6.502(b) requires.

Filings go to the Travis County District Clerk, Civil and Family Division, 1700 Guadalupe St., 3rd Floor, Austin, TX 78701. County seat: Austin. Population: 1,389,670 (2025 Census estimate).
