Qualifying in Bell County

After the Court signs the order, Kasey Jorgenson takes the receiver's oath and files it with the bond the Court set (Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code §§64.022–.023), then sends a notice of qualification to both counsel. In a pending divorce, we give the appointment notice to each lienholder within 30 days, as Tex. Fam. Code §6.502(b) requires.

Filings go to the Bell County District Clerk, Bell County Justice Complex, 1201 Huey Road, Belton. County seat: Belton. Population: 402,248 (2025 Census estimate).

What we need from counsel
