Qualifying in Hays County

After the Court signs the order, Kasey Jorgenson takes the receiver's oath and files it with the bond the Court set (Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code §§64.022–.023), then sends a notice of qualification to both counsel. In a pending divorce, we give the appointment notice to each lienholder within 30 days, as Tex. Fam. Code §6.502(b) requires.

Filings go to the Hays County District Clerk, 712 S. Stagecoach Trail, San Marcos, TX 78666. County seat: San Marcos. Population: 304,390 (2025 Census estimate).
